Usui Reiki is an ancient form of healing that can be dated as far back as 500 BC but was recently rediscovered in 1800’s by doctor Mikao Usui in Japan. The word Reiki is from Japanese words meaning Rei – Universal and Ki – Life Energy. This life energy is known in many human civilizations:

India – Prana
Hebrew – Rauch
Islam – Barraka
China – Ch’I
Japan – Ki

Ki is an electrical energy that creates the body and determines it’s state of health. Everything alive contains Ki and radiates it as an aura. All forms of Reiki work with this energy and is an effective way to bring health to the mind, body and spirit. Reiki helps to increase the body’s ability to heal itself. It is thought to bring about a balance in the body and loosen up energy blocks.

Inspired by Ascended Master Buddha, the emphasis of Lightarian ReikiTM is on compassion, energetic purity, simplicity, ease of delivering the healing energies during a treatment and the creation of dramatic healing results. Regarding simplicity, the healing work are very direct and very simple for both the client and practitioner. An important aspect of this reiki is the use of clear intentions when delivering the Lightarian Reiki healing energies to clients.

An examination of Kundalini is present in both mystical literature and traditions and seems to have been a universal phenomenon in esoteric teachings for perhaps three thousand years. Kundalini-type descriptions or experiences are found in teachings of the Egyptians, Tibetans, Chinese, some Native Americans, and the !Kung bushmen of Africa. Kundalini has been interpreted from the Bible as "the solar principle in man," and is referenced in the Koran, the works of Plato and other Greek philosophers, alchemical tracts (the philosopher's stone), and in Hermetic, Kabbalistic, Rosicrucian, and Masonic writings. Just as in the modern day, the medical symbol of the two snakes climbing up a pole represent the Kundalini rising within us.
